The last 2 I've seen sell in the last couple years ended at $80 and $120 respectively.
I picture you having a lab with a bank of computers crunching numbers and tracking sales of Brewers cards. I'm constantly amazed by your knowledge concerning anything with a Brewer's photo on it (and sometimes not even a photo) :)

Highest I've seen one sell for.

Seller emailed me this......

Hi there, I have access to several 1990 Upper Deck Mike Witt black box error cards. They are on uncut sheets of 10 cards though. All 10 cards are different. The sheets also include the Keith Hernandez error and two other errors. Look in my closed auctions. I sold one last night that was cut from the sheet for $1,300. I would be willing to sell a sheet individually for that. I have a very short supply of these sheets. They were purchased from the son of a former executive from Upper Deck.

Shady

Actually what's shady is not replying to an email then posting on a message board a private offer. All the sheets are gone. Good luck finding more. They may have been the only sheets available that still existed. I have plenty more information regarding the sheets but it is of no use to someone who can't respond to a simple email in the first place. Happy collecting.

Wow, its also very interesting to see what the winning bidder has bought the last 30 days and how much he's paid for some of these items:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...923&completed=1&all=1&rows=200&sort=10&_rdc=1

He won 2 sets of 70-71 OPC hockey, I checked out the auction and saw this question at the bottom...

Q: Unclear from your description - are you selling two SERIES of 1970 OPC Hockey (1st Series: Cards 1-132, 2nd Series: Cards 133-264) or two complete sets (264 cards each)? Thanks, Keith Olbermann
A: Two complete sets!

Where on eBay do you search that info "Current and recent auctions bid on by"?

Just to be clear, what I'm referring to as shady is that these (at the time, perhaps still) high profile errors would make their way out of Upper Deck on several copies of one sheet, not you or your sales

Well there goes the market for those.

Is this really what these damn things are going for? I picked one up at a show in 1996ish out of a 3/$1 box from a NY-based dealer that always came up for the big RI shows, and ended up selling it to a dealer in New Bedford MA for the equivalent of less than a penny when I sold my collection back in 2002. It was (and still does) only booking for $10, so I thought nothing of it (condition wasn't perfect, either). The shop was long gone by the time I starting collecting again in late 2008, so at some point in the early 2000s, someone either made a mint off my my stupidity or has a gem sitting in a box of junk somehwere. ::facepalm::

Is this the same card that numerous threads were posted bashing the guy for looking to get $450? I guess it had some value after all.
