I've been chasing this set for 3 years and have never seen a Galarraga for sale. The only Dykstra I saw went for $15. I once saw Gregg Jeffries go for $15 too. I was in the bidding for that Merced. Came out short. Fortunately Game****fanatic was kind enough to sell me one.

That is strange Merced is rarer than Griffey or Thomas.

its not rarer, but it doesn't come up often because most people see it as a 5 cent common and don't waste the time to list because they don't think its wanted which is what game**** said

I'm starting to consider buying some packs and trying to pull the last 2 I need. Thing is these jumbo retail boxes don't show up often either.

Picked up a box. I've got a 1/6 shot of pulling one I need. Should be some old school fun. Hopefully the cards won't be stuck together.

I think I bought some of those boxes years ago.Don't think any of the cards were stuck together.

Got a decent price on the box and used eBay bucks. Opened a few packs, and no sticking so far! Only going to open a few tonight because of being under the weather. Hopefully tomorrow I'll find a shiny Dykstra or Big Cat hiding in them packs!

So it was a fun but unproductive break. Ended up Pulling Paul Molitor. Never been more disappointed to pull a HOFer. Oh well the cardboard gods did smile upon me though as a Dykstra popped up on COMC. Only The Big Cat remains.
