Does anyone have any info on these cards? I've done some research online and so far I haven't found a whole lot. They were in a box of cards that I was planning on giving away...I figured I'd ask the FBC community before I threw away something worth $$. The cards seem like they're from a generic commemorative set, but I think I have all of them (25 in total). I've seen some completed listings on eBay in the $2-$4 range....thought I might sell them as a lot and maybe get $20 or so...

I've seen these in Fairfield repacks at Target. As far as I'm concerned, these are on the same level as the Conlon Collection Ruths.

I dont believe you will get 20 bucks for a lot of these cards. They are not highly collectible and honestly, if you can find someone who will like them, just give them away.

And that's a good thing. Megacards and their sets were awesome. If you ever want to learn about baseball, watch Ken Burns' doc, or flip through a binder of Conlon Collection

I used to have tons of those Conlon cards when I was a kid; the 3 1988 sets, the 1991 factory set (that came with a Bob Feller auto), and I think the 1992 and 1993 sets. Awesome cards for collectors (especially kids) to learn about the history of the game. Not worth much, though.

I picked up a few packs of the Conlon series cards when they first came out. Low and behold I pulled a Shanty Hogan card. The same last name as me. Those cards started me on a pre-war and modern player collection of people named Hogan. I now have about 45 different cards. All from different sets. Good stuff.
