Hey guys, I'm pretty new here, but have been in the card business a while. I stopped doing hockey around 2003-2004. Anyway, I have a complete 1996-97 Be a Player autograph set including both series and the "Link 2 History" autographs. I was looking for some advice on how to sell/trade it. Should I try getting rid of it as a complete set? Or do you think I could get more for it by breaking it up? There aren't too many stars in the set. The biggest one is Messier. Thanks for any advice!

I'm not sure what way is better (to sell as a set or individually) but a lot of the BAP auto cards don't sell for much on their own. Of course the better ones, Roenick, Robitaille, Gilmour, Leetch, Joseph, and Messier will sell on their own but the rest will be hard to sell unless they are in lots. The Link 2 History auto's are in the same boat, the stars like Iginla, Forsberg, Kariya, and Yzerman will sell well but the others, you may have to sell in lots. I have never tracked the 96-97 set but I have sold some of my 97-98 set and the only ones of those that seem to sell are the SP (I don't believe the 96-97 set has any) and the stars so I'm assuming your set will be similar.
