1996-97 Upper Deck Folz Vending Machine Minis

In 1996 and 1997 Upper Deck created 48 card baseball, football, basketball, and hockey sets for the Folz Vending Machine company. Cards were placed in their vending machines at Toys R Us and other retail establishments. For .50 cents you would get one card from the vending machine. The cards were unprotected and were easily dinged when they were dispensed.

The sets use the photos from the Collector's Choice sets from 1996 and 1997, but the Collector's Choice logo is removed, they are smaller than normal card size and are numbered to 48. Plus, the first six cards of each set are short-printed foil. Beckett has checklisted sets for 1996 football, 1997 football, and 1996-97 basketball, but they have not checklisted the 1996 Baseball set.

Here is the checklist for the 48 card basketball set. Right now I have only one available for each player, but if there is interest I believe I can get some more. Listed prices include shipping.

I mostly have oddball baseball stuff, but I do have some basketball oddball stuff like magazine inserts, Broders, stamps, stickers, etc. Just post a message if you want to see what I have for a team or player. (Most of the stuff is from the 1980s and 1990s)
