sup fellas!

i really like some subsets from this year's ultimate collection

i bought a pack last week and pulled this peyton below and have since been picking up the ones needed to complete the set

and one of the two super toughy one is in hand!!!

on card auto, strong checklist, different serial # on the 25 card set, no redemptions (i think! lol!)
and overall a great looking design made me want to try for the complete set

now, i figure the ap and ben roth will be the toughest since the print run on those two are #ed to /5

not going to go overboard on them but hopefully, i can accomplish this set (with your help, of course )

im not too into outside of baseball but this subset from ultimate really looks really good and i have never been patient with starting/finishing a set before so i hope i can break the cycle with this one

I am absolutely in love with your ichiro collection. I've wanted to collect him as well, I just don't have the money to.

If you had to pick a few AFFORDABLE cards that are a must in an ichiro collection what would you pick? Graded chrome rookie? Sweet spot auto? Etc.

Very nice choice Dave, i own the Eli from the set and its one of my favorite cards right now. They look great!! This ones not available but if i get any others ill let you know.

Ryo1549 - thanks! and i would really appreciate the lookout for em. as for ichiro, depending on the budget, i would def. go for 01 bowman chrome refractors, both eng. and ***. version. that's a great way to start a collection of ichiro that's affordable. sweet spot autos are very affordable so yes, i will be in the lookout for ya if i find it cheap

tenclubber - love his auto! funny thing is, he's in 4 of the 25 checklist! there are freakin 4 auto/jersey versions of peyton!!!

yeah, between eli and peyton, they hold 8 of the 25 cards in the subset :lol: :lol: :lol:

they are all in different pictures and from what i saw, different serial # on a few of them as low as #/15 to #/40

i think your one looks good for now :lol: :lol: no need to add the other 3 versions :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

ap and ben roth are #ed to only #/5 so this was a big pickup

also won this below late last night. it's weird but he's not listed on the checklist but i saw this auction while browsing for the ultimate
