1st semi-finals TUF fight.

Should have went to a 3rd round in my opinion.

I completely expected Roy and Sims to run all over these chumps, but that hasn't happened. Sims looked like a fool, and Roy hasn't looked as impressive as I expected in either of his fights.

Still have Roy picked to win it all though.

TUF should never do another HW show!

not seeing how 2 judges scored that fight 20-18 for Roy. Roy lost that 1st round easily. I think Schaub and Marcus have looked the most impressive so far.

While I do think it should have gone to a 3rd, I didn't think it was absurd to give Roy the first. Outside of that early flurry, I didn't really think Wren did a ton. I did think he was controlling the action but a lot of it was with big lunging punches that didn't connect. I wasn't totally impressed with Roy but for someone that big he has pretty good cardio and he did win a fight in which he went away from his strengths, wrestling and bjj.

I do agree that this should be the last time they do a HW TUF. I think for the first time in a while there are actually a decent amount of good HWs in the UFC. I dont know if any of these guys have a shot at being legit contenders and if the first heavyweight TUF is any indication, most will just drop down to 205.

And what's the point of a HW TUF if the fighters are just going to drop down in weight after the show is over? It does nothing to further the HW UFC division whatsoever.

For a fat man Roy hasn't gassed at all really that I seen. Not spectacularly.


I enjoy watching the fights without commentators these days. Let's me do a better job scoring, which I admit I am bad at anyway, without the bias from Rogan and Goldie.

Roy suffered not even a scratch in that fight, and Justin was getting gassed.

I was shocked that the first round went to Roy, but if it went to a third round (as it should have) Wren would've lost without question...so instead of postponing the inevitable...

I agree about not doing a HW TUF. I think the only guy that might have a shot at anything is Marcus. He would need to learn quite a bit in a short period of time though. But he has the size for a decent HW. I just don't see any of these other guys staying at HW, except for Roy who would have to starve himself for a year to get into LHW shape.

Marcus has some great size and therefore some potential, but to make a mark in the heavyweight division...I don't see any of these guys doing much.

This class of UFC will perhaps make the smallest mark of any since the show started.
