I actually got these cards during the week but just got around to scanning them now.
2008 Upper Deck Timelines Auto 08/10
Now I have been waiting for this card for a long time. About 5 years ago when I got back into collecting at 17 I picked up this card from the local shop and it was one of my all time favorite cards. I got a great deal on it and I just loved the look of it. It was probably one of my first "PC" cards. I had a Free Webs site at the time where I put scans of my cards and I had a collector contact me about this card. He said he wanted to try and trade for the card for his Grandson. At first I said no because I wanted to keep the card but then he offered me a huge lot of TTM football and basketball autos. There were some big names such as Joe Montana, Jerry West, Brett Favre, Torry Holt etc. so I agreed and traded him the card for all of the TTM autos. We when I received his card they wreaked of smoke and the were all fake autos and really bad fakes. So I e-mailed him back and told him the autos were fake and that they smelled like smoke. He said that they were real and since I wasn't happy he would send me a Brett Favre autographed 8x10 to make up for it. I agreed and then when I received that I could tell that it was fake as well. So I e-mailed him back and I never heard from him again. I was pissed because I had just gotten back into collecting and I had already been ripped off. So I have always wanted to pick up a copy of this card again and a couple weeks ago I saw a board member post the card in the Weekend Pick Up thread and I sent him a PM and I asked him how much he wanted for it and he told me and I paid with in minutes. Needless to say this copy is staying in my PC forever!
