Like the Whitey!

I pulled a Monte Irvin auto out of mine. I was going to do more but researched
the box breaks and saw only 1-2 cards I would be happy with out of 40 or so
packs. Figured save my money.....

Fugazzi,
You should be able to get $100 out of Marichal. While its not a big winner per se, its certainly not a terrible card. 9's are tough!
Please PM me your address. You have been randomly chosen to receive a free gift from Razor. Thanks for the box break and support.
BG

p.s.-
Amazin, there are PLENTY of big cards in this one. Just hard to tell when you see them listed on ebay which came from this product.

At least you enjoyed yor beak
I'm not so sure about the $100 for the Marichal
One completed psa 9 ended at 72 and nobody jumped on the 105 BIN
maybe the 72 was a freak auction that snuck past some of the psa 9 set builders

I do agree that psa 9 are tough
according to population report not too many psa 9s of that card out there

I would pay $87.50 for the Marichal myself. BG

Nice pulls on both. A HOF in any 60's set in PSA 9 is a great card. Population is 93 on it. With only 3 10's.

Would it be possible for Razor to ask PSA to add somewhere in their slabs a Razor logo for those products? I saw a guy once that is a pretty big BGS customer that had his name on the slabs right under the card description.

Are all of the cards slabbed by PSA for Razor OR did Razor buy some already slabbed and just box them out? The reason why I ask is because of the above suggestion

I assumed that some of the cards were already slabbed and just bought that way by BG

BLeh... I agree.

Years down the road who's going to want that on a slab to remind them of a company that never was.
No thanks.

I don't understand this kind of thinking. If everyone were thinking like you, it would be the end of evolution. Stop trying to do something new all, everything already exist at it's best! For now the company is and I believe it will be in the future.

There is no way it will affect the future value of the card. IT'S A SLAB!

I've opened quite a few of this product and about 3 or 4 of my PSA holders have a smudge from where a price tag was.

WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT VALUE??

I for one, if I was a vintage collector and was purchasing a card for my COLLECTION, not for PROFIT purposes would rather not have the slab say RAZOR. BLEH!!

There is need to understand MY way of thinking at all.
Reality isn't for everyone.

You told nobody will want a slabbed card with Razor on it. If no one wants it, value=0$. Reality isn't for everyone, lol. I would not call your vision reality.

Not exactly a vision, but I'm pretty sure most Vintage collectors could care less if a slab of a 58 Joe Blow or a 62 Mantle says Razor. REALLY!

Just my 2 pesos.
Agree or disagree, it really doesn't matter.

Wow, thats harsh...

But I kinda like the idea. I look at it this way. It's a way for RAZOR to get their name out there more. It will segregate slabbed vintage as to what was pack released by RAZOR. And in the long run, adding something to the label that may add a hit of rarity down the line that distinguishes it from the rest may not be a bad thing. However, if none of these attributes ever ammount to a hill of beans, it still does not take away anything from the card/slab and RAZOR still gets their name out there. So it seems like a no brainer to me.

However, if your the type that simply does not want the name RAZOR on your RAZOR pack pulled slab because you just do not like, trust, ect. the company and/or Brian, then chances are you are not buying/busting the product anyway. An I'm pretty sure their will not be much in these packs that can not be found elswhere anyhow.

But just to offer my 2 cents, I think it would be foolish for Brian even to try this. The cost of having to re-submit the already graded/slabbed cards to simply put the RAZOR name on it's label will only increase the cost of the product for the consumer. I would much rather see a holographic sticker of some sort with the RAZOR name stuck to the team bag accompanying the card. That way, it's not on the slab it'self but still present for thoes who want it. To make this even more wanted/valuable to the customer, he could put a serial number on the sticker as well that matches an online database of a scan of the actual card. This would do the trick as far as getting the RAZOR name attached to the packed slab's, and offer added value to the product. And, give thoes who do not wish to have the RAZOR name associated with their cards the oppertunity to simply take it out of the team bag and throw away the RAZOR connection.

The more I think of it, the more it seems foolish to resubmit already slabbed cards to simply put the RAZOR name on the Label when the cost is going to impact the buyer. But I do like the Idea of having RAZORs name associated with the pack pulled slabs as mentioned above.

Well that's your opinion and it's fine, but no need to expend it to the Vintage collector community.
Any vintage collector in here that would not buy a vintage graded card if there was a Razor logo somewhere?

Another thing it would help people see what was packed by Razor. Right now, impossible to determine what was in this product.
