The guy at the shop told me a Matt Gamel Auto had been pulled already so I only bought 2 packs.
I'm glad I only bought 2 packs because this card looks horrendous.
It looks like Hoffman's head is on a stick. I showed it to a coworker and he asked me "What the Hell is that?"
Also, the writing on the side reads "Authentic Game Used-Relic" so does that mean that some of these are not jerseys?
When did the Padres wear Orange? Is this an All-Star Swatch?

In 2005 Donruss Champions I pulled a GU of a Padre (don't remember who) and the relic piece was orange.

It's hard to research what the orange uni might look like if it exists. My go-to site for uniforms and logos doesn't have the Padres' alternate cammo or banana uniforms, so I"m not accepting that it is complete on jerseys by any stretch of the imagination. I wonder the orange came from a good sized "SD" logo on a uniform that has orange in it?

I just saw this one on ebay and it is not the same color as mine, this one looks yellowish?
This must have been from a throwback that he wore?
Our group break tonight should be interesting!
Maybe we can have a contest, name that swatch!

My guess is from the arm pit of the jersey:

2006 All Star Jersey (the yellow portions were from the main body of the jersey).

Look at it this way.. at least the arm pit is a rarer color.
