I see they were inserted 1/180 packs and are rather expensive. Of course Burbank has the Griffey for
200 but I think that might be a little high. My SCD has it at 40 so I would say probably in the middle?
Maybe 100 125. Does anyone know how they were distributed? I am sure there isn't much unopenend left
because Pujols rookies are worth a small fortune.
I bought this redemption card and is wondering
if that was the only way to get these was through a mail in so maybe Burbanks price isn't too far off?

While Griffey cards do better than Rolen cards on the secondary market...that price seems pretty steep to me.

I paid around $10 for this:

So they bought 5 back and put a number on them? Seems kind of strange?
Couldn't you just wipe it off and have a 2001 Fleer Legacy Hot Gloves card?
I still would like to know if the redemption cards were inserted into packs
or is it just the Griffey card because they had problems with it?

I know for a fact that the Rolen was a redemption as well. (As is almost any other good Rolen card out there.) I've seen two Rolen redemptions on ebay in the 14 or so years that I've been collecting Rolen. I can't say for certain because I never pulled any myself...but I would assume the redemption cards were inserted into packs.

No, I didn't save a picture. But I will email the guy who won it. We email back and forth occasionally about different Rolen cards that we pick up. I'll see if I can get a scan of it for you.
