I have never seen a patch like this on a serial numbered to 300 card.
" REAL " But of course it is.

Patchworks was a weird set that did have nice patches with high print runs. Once upon a time I had a Nomo with a piece of a logoman that was numbered /150 or /250. Still, buyer beware.

With decades of known fake patches behind it, whether its real or not and whoever it came from seems fairly meaningless. Most people in the know will just regard it as likely fake i think.

On the back of the card it states that it is a patch!

Back then Fleer made some cards that had patches that were high numbered.

Good luck,

I m no expert, but there are several /300 pedros with just a red plain piece of Sox # patch, and fleer semed to save the "logoman" on Maddux for an /25 version..... anything could be true, but skepticism can save embarrassment sometimes.....

And here is a plain ol white jersey Baldelli, /300. But the back says "patch", so it might be that they said "patch" for regular jersey swatches/all cards.....again,just doing a cursory search and observing. Not claiming to know.... not sure the word "patch" on back is a smoking gun of proof

So we would be saying that a #/300 with a premium patch is worth more than a basic patch /25 ?

If I knew with absolute certainty that the premium patch is real then I would pay more for that card than one with basic patch of any # besides maybe a 1/1

The piece added could be from a name, number where it's made of white material. Without looking at the card personally, you can't tell if it's a patch or just part of a jersey.

Couldnt disagree with you of course, but I will remain skeptical. Too many scammers out there messing with all these cards, even 20 years after the fact. Looks like a piece of plain jersey enough that I think its a safe bet that plenty got made that way in the /300 run and werent "patches".
