Hey all I just picked up a complete set of the Post Baseball cards and haven't seen too many of the singles listed and was told that this set was only obtained by completeing a puzzle then sending in some money to redeem the set? Is this true and can anyone shed any light on this issue...thanks

I bought one of those mixed pack boxes, and the whole set of those cards were the "bonus".Probably 30 cards in the set, 1 player for each team.I have no idea if they were a redemption or not.

From the SCD annual: "Collectors who assembled all six CD-roms from Post Ceral boxes could find a coded number to order the set. Cards are printed on extra thick stock."

No word on print run, so who knows how many sets are really out there?

thanks for the input all, I don't know if I will break up the set to player collectors or sell it as a full set...so you had to get all 6 cds then enter the code and redeem I wonder how many were actually made...and to the poster that said you got it as a bonus in a variety box that could have been a nice pick-up....I will keep the few of you that wanted specific players in mind if I do break it up...I'm just upset that there was no Frank Thomas in the set instead it was Paul Konerko...

Maybe the set isn't completely worthless after all.Mine came inside some cello wrapper glued inside the cardboard of the box.The "bonuses" in these things were usually some junk jersey card/some scrub autograph/some BS trinket, so when I saw it I opened it and tossed it aside thinking it was just another worthless insert set.I put all the stars in the set in my binder of stars/semi-stars and the rest in my commons box.
