2004 Leaf Certified Cuts Question

I have this card...



Is the card below a different variation? It looks like maybe the piece that makes the "C" was ripped off. Both are numbered to 10 and look identical except for the piece that makes the "C". Thanks for any input.

Looks like the inner part of the "c" was torn off to me.

I think the little tag to form the "C" was ripped off like you indicated. I am more familiar with the 2003 and 2004 sets but I can tell you that the jersey cards do come in different themes with different cutouts to match the theme. Jersey Number, Year, Position, etc. The oval left off after the tag was ripped off does not represent any particular theme so I say it's a damaged card.
