I'm coming into this thread pretty cold, but are you collecting the autos in this? Because the Yount 1/1 auto is up on eBay right now.

If I were still actively collecting, I wouldn't have a problem with that price for this set specifically. Given that one might never see it again, I think it's pretty fair. It's not my card, full disclosure. I just saw it the other day and lamented that I'm not spending that kind of money on cards anymore, because it would pair beautifully with my Absolute MLB Logo 1/1 that I have.

Thanks for the heads up. I saw the Yount auto and it is a beautiful card. That being said, I am specifically collecting the reverse jumbo set. Early on (2005-2006) I was collecting multiple cards/sets from 2005 Absolute but I was spending way to much. Shortly after, I sold off all my non reverse jumbos and centered in on that set exclusively.

Does anyone know if these Team Quad Special Edition 1/1s were pack issued?

I can't find any of them in the Beckett database and there's no mention on baseballcardpedia.

I've seen this Pirates quad and an A's version and both cards had similar foil stamping.

Wow, it's been forever since I've posted on this site. Glad you guys are keeping this thread alive. Since I last posted, I had almost all my PC stolen, including almost all of my Absolutes, but have luckily recovered probably over half the cards of value.

In addition to the Vlad, I also added this Schmidt. The other images are a small sample of what I was able to recover.
