I have tried collecting the YSL set but OMG what a mess to try and complete even 25% of it

I love the '04 stuff that's being mentioned. Cheap low #'d cards of great players. Sucks for player collectors who don't like sev.eral variations. I, on the other hand, love it, since I don't collect the all time greats and just stick to solid players

2005 Studio Portraits
2005 Throwback Threads Polo Grounds
2005 Leaf Sportscasters
2004 Leaf Exhibits

That would be a tough run for a player collector to complete!

Of the four, I liked Exhibits the least.

Not to mention you had to collect both versions of the exhibits (the #'d regular Leaf and the unnumbered 2nd Edition)

From a store owner view, polo grounds, exhibits, sportscaster, etc were great for box sales.

People loved getting many cards numbered very very low of superstars per bx.
