Is anyone breaking this product? Know someone who is?

I am curious about the player collectors that have been putting this set together. Are sets like this a fun challenge or is it a beatdown having to track down a large number of cards serial numbered to relatively low numbers? Just wondering.

I think it's fun hunting for the jersey # of my player... I only have 3 from Polo Grounds, but check out these Sportscasters...

They are all #24/xx! :D

I don't really care about getting all of them, just as many 24's as I can. Otherwise I think I would probably hate these sets... especially Studio Portraits, I have no idea which card is which.

Steve,
I enjoy the challenge and chase. You have to make it a point to pick up the tougher ones the first time you see them. I was glad I did and now I only need an easier and higher numbered one.

It starts out fun, trying to track down as many copies at release, but then after months of not finding anything it can become very frustrating. When you do get within the last couple cards you start getting anxious and looking more often and in more places and that brings the excitement back for a bit.

I didn't do this set but I did do the 07 M&M black of Andruw (191 cards /29) and am still one card short of the 98 topps tek run. After those 2 sets, I don't think I'll ever attempt another one like this.

I'm just glad it's a higher serial numbered card and not one /5 or something.

I have 14 Andruw's, but I am not actively trying for the set right now. The set has no eye appeal in my opinion and every card is exactly the same with the exception of the wording and serial numbering. Kind of reminds me of the 2004 Leaf Exhibits set I am trying to complete. Of the sets like this, I think the 2005 Studio Portraits is the best. While the image is the same on every card, there are color variations and B/W portraits that I really like.
