I overpaid for this box but felt like breaking something a little older. I believe the 1/1 Tulowitzki is still in one of these boxes, so I took a long shot gamble.

This promises 2 autographs and 12 numbered parallels. I am going to post each pack to prolong the fun.

The recap:

A very fun break with a numbered card in every pack. I love a product that has some older players who were very good but not quite great, like Brook Jacoby, Chet Lemon, Devon White, Tom Tresh, Jeffrey Leonard, etc.

Here are the two guaranteed autos. Could have done worse and gotten two non-Tulo RC autos.

Of course, the best card was the 1/1 boxtopper, which can be seen a few posts down.

Wow, there is a boxtopper checklist, and the rookie autos available here are WEAK outside of Tulo! I hope to at least pull a veteran auto, but we will see.

Oops, just saw that the Jones is a Gold Refractor. Like I said, colorblind, and my wife isn't here to tell me the colors!

OK, looking online it seems that those numbered to 499 are RED, and those to 399 are orange.

This confusion is not only because I'm colorblind, but also because there is no red parallel listed on pack odds. This may also explain why the box advertises 12 numbered cards, but there is actually one in each pack.

Anyway, back to breaking. Ignore my disability!

Pack 12:

Brook Jacoby green 085/199 - This is why I love a product like this. I remember Brook Jacoby, and I was a fan of the Indians in the 80s. It is good to once again see good older players that are largely forgotten by the hobby.
Reprints: McGee, Moises Alou
