If I can recall, these were SPed, correct?

Does anyone know the specifics on the number of copies? Or just a educated guess?

25, I believe.

Yet they get no hobby love. I see a lot on eBay for like $1. I know they're a bitch to track down for a player collector.

Is it because no one knows they're SPed, or do they fall in just like the other inserts in the set, and not sell for much no matter the scarcity?

Player collectors are the only ones that seem to care about them.

No doubt the lack of serial-numbering and the similarity to many of the base cards hurts the value. They do have a "refractor-like" surface, but some players are harder to determine this parallel than others. And there are simply a rare parallel from a one-time run set.

Personally, I think they are great looking cards and I think I have about 20 of them.

I still haven't seen a Jonny Gomes blue, which is one of two cards I'm missing from 2006 (other is Bowman Originals /2). Neither do I own a Matt Diaz copy, although there was one on eBay several years ago.

From what I understand, 25 is simply a guess, as I do not believe that an actual number was actually released. Also contributing to the scarcity of blues is the fact that not much of the product was opened, mostly because it didn't have much going for it aside from an enormous base set.

Out of curiosity (and perhaps some hope), who would be interested in a group player break of F/X?

I need only the Eric Young Red right now, found a Blue dirt cheap a while back. How cheap do these boxes go for...never really looked for them

I'm still looking for Sizemore and Thomas blues, so I sorta would, but I've already got all the other levels, so I sorta wouldn't. The set was 1000+ cards, so a team break would be the way to go, if anything. A case could easily contain 0 cards of any given player.

People who did open cases said that their stacks of blues were half the size of the stacks #/50, so 25 seems like a reasonable guess, anywhere 20-30 copies.

I don't know why, but I also remember believing the print run to be 20-25 as well.

Couldn't find them anywhere online, but were there odds printed for the unnumbered parallel? I have some recollection of that being used to calculate the print run at 23. But I could be crazy.

Regardless, nice cards. I was lucky enough to find a graded copy so I knew what I was getting for sure. Didn't cost me much either.

I really like the look of those cards. And I'm still missing both the Biggio blues. I'd be interested in a group break of some sort. I seem to recall the product was kind of on the expensive side. But I don't think it was very popular, so maybe its been discounted some now.

I still can't find the Andre Ethier and Jeff Francis blues.
Not on eBay, Beckett or Sportlots.
I bet so many F/X blues are sitting in junk common boxes, or worse, thrown out  because they're unnumbered and people don't realize what they have.

I have one, sadly it isn't the one of Jorge Cantu. It is one of the 9 cards I need from 1999 to 2007 of Cantu (like 250 cards).
Since the product was released I haven't seen one and I check several sites.
The only thing I can do is the hope up
