Thanks, hes an absolute steal at 21. I think there has been some overpicks and feel there will be some more so i can get someone i want at 44 and it looks like that will happen. the rest is a crapshoot at 70 88 92 104 136 154 163 which id love to sell or trade

And don't forget, if people don't show up they are getting a random guy so people may fall even lower..

Agreed, the odds of hitting your auto aren't that good.....

I would much rather have 10 total lincecum's than a base auto of a midrange guy. I just sold a lot of 5 lincecum chromes for $22 dlvd......

If they tell me to use mine than I can use that, but if they don't even take the time to say that, then they deserve to get randomized.

No one has told me to use it but its always an option.

It was going to be, but then minutes later I realized some may want to trade / sell their picks so it gives them a day for deals. Plus, we arent as far in the draft so this draft should take at least 2 hours

Speaking for myself (& my tactic's in this draft), I am going with "possible" SV. I look at the SV's along with production of the prospect's & thier situation's as this calculates into thier future worth/SV. I initially thought Hagadone may have been a "reach" but given the SV's of recent Blue Ref auto's, I don't think so as much anymore. I thought about Mills but...I'll just put it this way, I'm not a believer! The only real struggle I had was between Burgess/Revere/Hagadone/with a sprinkle of Lambo in there, & then it went to just Hagadone & Revere (in which I figured I'd shoot for a Red Sox prospect that has a huge upside/ceiling, over Revere whom is buried behind A.Hicks & really has no power).
Anyhow, this is my 2nd group break but I already know that when I bust product (when I used to) that I set my "want's" on the bigger hit's ("Go BIG or Go Home")! :lol: So in a group case break like this one, IMO I don't see the point in picking a player that I can "settle" for if I have the opportunity to snag a player whom can really "light it up" if I hit it big (see what I'm saying?)...I'd rather not "play it safe" when I'm gambling, as that's basically what we're doing here- gambling.
Not sure if it made sense or not but I like that people are acquiring player's that they like (of course to some these pick's may seem odd/crappy & they may think to themselves: "what were they thinking?". But then again, the member's whom you think have "reached" in this draft may be looking at your decision's/choice's & thinking the exact same thing...."What were they thinking?" :lol:

Good post Dave, it really is if you really want to gamble with a 33% chance of hitting an AU guy or get the guaranteed cards and hope for a parallel. Really interesting when the drafts play out. This one is already migrating away from the results of the first.
