Re: 2007 Bowman Draft Team Case Break 1 case - Sold out

Why is a $560 case costing the group $920? I think I need to breakdown the cost and odds of these group breaks. Starting to get a little out of hand. You would be better off buying scratch tickets at your local gas station.

I paid $690 for this case, I sent a few emails to one seller on ebay and never got a response. Had I bought that case you are talking about the price would be lowered.

Yes and your $920 is off by about $60-70 as well. If you don't like the team breaks, don't enter them. (not sure if you are anway)

One more thing since Andrew stated what he bought the case for. Do you expect him to pay out of his own pocket for paypal fees, shipping costs and supplies? Makes no sense with your argument.

Your argument holds no water until you pay Andrew what you owe him.

neither do I

That is why I want you to pay Andrew what you owe him. Right now, you are taking advantage of his good will. I don't like to see Andrew taken advantage of.

If he does buy using live.com, why would he use his live.com % to get others a better price, I'd trust blowout over a random guy selling on ebay, and you have to wait 60 days for the 10% back even if he bought from that guy. Why would he wait 60 days to get money that is due now? just thinking.

Andrew does a great job and I certainly couldn't do any better. I just like laying out the facts. A lot of times people have a hard time speaking up.

Andrew paid $690 for this case, did not buy it off ebay. The ebay price is meaningless in this case and on this case. I laid out facts also but you didn't respond to them.

Re: 2007 Bowman Draft Team Case Break 1 case - Sold out

AIC Andrew very respectable breaks (good bookkeeping, knows who paid and didn't pay, doesn't take forever to respond to PMs or sending out cards, etc) but I also am glad AKA Coastal keeping all live breakers on their toes and making sure he can keep live break prices at reasonable prices

as fas as live.com, any opportunity for a person doing a break to gain off that is fine with me (sort of like a bonus) since #1) there is a set amount one can use each year if I understand correctly 2) takes some time to collect 3) isn't 100% ceratin to collect

AKA keep speaking your mind. You are not doing it just to be a punk. You are doing it because you want to make sure what is done is done right

Re: 2007 Bowman Draft Team Case Break 1 case - Sold out

im going to speak up here since ive been a part of the breaks from andrew since the very beginning.

1st off, you are make this sound like a) andrew's a thief and b) we (all of us who have participated in the breaks) are complete morons for not being able to calculate in our heads that we can cross reference the prices

do you honestly think we are all dumb enough to not realize that we're getting ripped off IF andrew jacked the prices? trust me, if his prices were ridiculous, no one would participate. i speak for myself, of course, but i think most/all who were/are on these breaks realize that it's a PAID service. we are PAYING andrew for a service. it's a business where he can provider services while also making some dough. what is his time worth? a dollar an hour? dude probably takes 3-4 hours to sort, pack, ship these out. he's got a family that he would love to spend time but again, and i cannot be clear on this, this is a PAID service, a job.

if you truly brought this attention up 100% to protect those who participate in this breaks, there are so many other ways to go about it than to call him out the way you did.

in the end, this just makes you look bad....

Well I made the arguement easier...I bought the case and will still participate in Andrew's break. AKA you need to chill Andrew's breaks are great and he deserves to make a few extra bucks. What is he suppose to do hit at home and sort 3000 cards everytime for free? Maybe if he was 16 with no kids he could do that.
