Did anyone else pull a Vitters aflac auto with an inscription under his name?

He wrote the phrase "westside" on the card I pulled today.

Any idea how common this is?

Cant answer your question, but i have 4 galloway aflacs and 1 doesn't have a '24' under his name. Its the only one ive seen and i was wondering if topps somehow keeps track of inscriptions and variations (yours being much cooler than mine).

Notice how on every Aflac Vitters auto, he signs his name along his left sleeve.

In this inscription version, westside is very clearly written along his sleeve, whereas his autograph is higher up on the card.

Perhaps this is one of the first or last cards he signed?

Anyone else have any AFLACs with inscriptions on them?

If I did, I would have inscribed "better than Wieters", put a 1/1 on the card, and encased it in a topps uncirculated holder.

Plus it would have been on ebay with a $9999.99 BIN or best offer!

His auto looks a tad different then his others, maybe a cousin signed?

Do you mean his cousin, Henry Vieters, the sausage king of Chicago?

You've got a rarity.

The guys from the following year (Adiran Nieto, Isaac Galloway) talked about adding inscriptions on their cards in Beckett magazine, but there was no mention of Vitters' class having inscriptions.

I'd hold onto it till Vitters becomes more widely known, unless someone offers you several times a regular auto's sales price.

Great pull !

Unless his cousin sneaked one in at the table with tons of other players and Topps reps, I doubt it.

Very nice card and if you market it right you should get a heavy premium.
