Re: 2008 Bowman Sterling Case #5 - Sold Out!!

andrew, i am in for your next sterling break....

I prefer the 4....

I would be pretty bummed paying $74 for the cubs, or dodgers, or padres etc.

i would much rather have 2 teams in a 4 box break...

I would be in for a 8 box break but can we not add a couple dollars more each and maybe absorb two of the worse teams together to form one (ie. SD/Who ever). I think that would be better to make it 29 slots and would give a better chance for that person to get something for their money..

By the way I paid.

Can't agree more. By my count, the Padres, Nationals, and Roayls are the teams not dishing out any autos or jersey hits.

With the current format, Andrew is bringing in 1080 before fees, I would have no problem paying 40 per slot, if it meant raffling off any cards pulled from the Pads, Nats, and KC... Andrew would still be left with 1080 before fees.

(EDIT) Although this could be a great idea, where does it stop? Owners of the Brewers and Marlins would be unhappy with a single vet relic to pull out of each. I guess we could just have two spots, one for the AL teams, and one for the NL teams  Anybody up for $550 a slot?

Well it would be simple, two worst teams with the least amount of hits would get absorbed into one. If you have 10 possible hits and you hit one, whos fault is that?

I think after this break this might be the way to do it. Those 3 teams dont have any autos or relics but do have a few cards.

27 slots + 1 slot(nats/kc/san diego)

So it looks like we're missing payment from one person on this. So is the break not going to happen tonight?
