2008 Contenders Gordon/Baez exchange with Panini

Called in to exchange my 3 2008 Contenders Devaris Gordon and 3 Pedro Baez Auto redemptions, as I didn't expect them to be filled before the season started. Just got the 6 emails from Panini that they are exchanging each redemption for a 2008 Dayan Viciedo Contenders Auto..

I know Viciedo's 2009 Chrome auto's might outsell the Contenders but I am very happy getting six.

Are Viciedo Contenders still selling well? I cant check eBay here at work.

I have one of Gordon and one of Baez, so if the Dayan's are still selling well I may as well get those replaced.

they were selling well, before Panini floods the market with them. Good think topps didn't do the same thing
with Pujols redemptions back in 2001.

Not sure, but neither was short printed.

False. I contacted Panini with this question and they told me it was incorrect. They also said the person who had the multiple redemptions to be replaced is only getting 1 contenders auto for the group he wanted a replacement for. They are not sending replacements for Gordon or Baez yet.

Correct- I had my hopes up. I got one Viciedo for all 6 Redemptions. Still ahead via BV- but not SV anymore. Right now- better than nothing.
