My first box of documentary - not bad for an $11 deal. ;)

btw, Tolbert scan made with the inexpensive scanner talked about in the "general chat" area; Jackson buyback with my old dinosaur one.

Not to bad.

If you happened to pull a gold 1946, I'd be very interested.

Are you talking about gold version of card #1946? Do you also happen to know the team crossref?

I'll put it on my setbuild sheet that there is interest when I get clarity about what card you are interested in.

I only have about 14 more boxes to bust over the next several years. ;) Since there is no more Topps Total, this is my "Topps Total" - a large set with dirt cheap boxes.

Yes, I was talking about card #1946. It's Andruw Jones, dodgers.

Are you building the set? I opened a couple boxes but all I pulled for golds were pretty much pirates/giants/mariners.

yep, that's what I'm thinking. It's the most "topps total" one can get until hopefully Topps gets off their drug high and decides to put Topps Total back into their yearly baseball rotation.

I'm surprised you got golds for pretty much the same teams. My findings from just the first box shows UD collation per box seems to be in number batches and not really by team. my set worksheet has a lot of blocks of numbers crossed out and not a lot of cards crossed out more randomly throughout the set.

I've noted yours and other requests. I'm setting aside gold cards for now because I haven't decided if I will combine those along with non-gold base as part of the complete set or if there will be enough base in the boxes I've bought that I can get close without having to have the aid of the gold parallels.
