2008 SP Legendary Cuts Checklist questions

So as I've said in other posts, I'm re-inventorying my Doerr collection and trying to make a more complete checklist. I've come across yet another issue with Beckett and the checklist they have listed for 2008 Sp Legendary Cuts.

I have the following two cards in my collection:

2008 Sp Legendary Cuts Legendary Memorabilia /10

There's also a /35 version on eBay right now. Beckett however has nothing listed about these for 2008 at all. All to be found is a base card #/550, and auto card #/25 and a Memorable Moments card #/1. No sign of any memorabilia cards at all.

I remember something about how there was a problem with this checklist at release, but can't find anything on it right now.

Anybody have any insight? Any other players collectors figure out a way to checklist this product?

I can only speak about the Paul O'neill card. It is a jersey version not the bat. I have the full rainbow.

I guess just from collecting them. In '08 Beckett had a list but the /35 was not on there and that was the hardest one for me to locate. I didn't know there was a 1/1.

Definitely is-been realizing the scope of my collection for sure! Discovered things I forgot to check off and on the other sides things I have 4 copies of! Doh!

I did my list by memory, that didn't work, lol. I see I have one to /21 as well. I wonder if those were to the players jersey?

Hmmm....you may be right?! Maybe that's where Doerr's #/1 comes from and why you didn't know about a #/1 for O'Neil?

I just checked [MENTION=3478]bradical[/MENTION] list for O'neill and it is not showing a 1/1. It lists 10 total and I own 10 of them pictured above.

Just looked at the UD checklist again and he's right- O'Neill isn't listed with a SP 1/1 Parallel

Yeah I looked , I have the /22 and /25. May have 1-2 others but those for sure. So it def looks like each player has a jersey # one , and not a /1 (unless that's their jersey #) , and makes 10 total. Umm think they went a lil overboard w/ parallels here? I mean there are two parallels # to the same as the "base".

This was a terrible issue, with way too much confusion. Also didn't help that the stated colors didn't actually look like the name (multiple blue shades; taupe, bronze (base), and copper were confusing; "green" card is darker than "dark green" card). Most frustrating, Beckett's checklist is still wrong. Even today, it only lists 7 Grace cards, and one of the ones it lists doesn't exist. The Dark Greens are numbered to player number. Here's the checklist, then scans are in same order if you want to compare colors to list.
