I'm collecting the 2008 Ultimate Patch autos (1 of each player - 2, 3, or 4 patches), and the bat barrel slice autos. Here is what I have in hand so far:

That is going to look incredible if you can finish. How long is the checklist on the patch/autos? That design is starting to grow on me. I didn't like it at first but seeing how nice they look in a hi-res scan makes a big difference. I do however despise the zig-zaggy lines, that is such an outdated design element. But throw an on-card auto on thee and you hardly notice it Very nice, man. GL with it!

wideright - I honestly don't know how big the checklist is...I know there will be at least a couple that will be a challenge to get...Chipper Jones (been selling for $275 to $350...I've been second on 4 of these so far), Dice-K, Jeter, and Griffey.

The barrel slice autos look much better in person although the scan does it pretty good justice.

Wish I had seen the smudge on the Fielder, but still a nice looking card. Added a Ozzie Smith and John Maine today (both patches.

You have an awsome scanner chuck. So good that it makes the fielder smudge noticable :lol: . Great looking cards and you are banging out the set pretty good so far.

I know...I love the CanoScan 4400F and recommend it to everyone. Wish I had noticed the smudge on the Fielder before I hit the BIN...probably would have still tried for it but with a BO.
