quite a few nice cuts in this product. Theres even a dual cut with Howie Morenz and Babe Ruth!! Anyone know of any connection there? There are also a few cuts for US presidents and Canadian PMs. I think this is the first product ive seen with Canadian Prime Ministers with cut autos. Anyone hear of any before? Curious now... Im also curious what these "hinged" cards are. Are they the little "books" that UD is doing in Basketball?

I love the "Country of Origin" subset with the autograph and the players home flag. They are gonna even have duals this year, which is cool. Just wish that Marc Andre Fleury was in that set. He had one in last years UD Black and that is my most wanted MAF card atm.

Jordan Staal will always get cards in the high end sets, he was a very high draft pick, is Canadian and has a pretty big following.

While the cards look real nice, I am a little in the middle with who the Islanders have in the set. There is no Tavares, and a so-so mix of current Islanders. At $200 a box, I will have to see, how I feel when it comes out.

Tavares should get a card in the "Rookie Redemption" set i would think.

Like I said they look real nice. I just got into collecting Hockey, so at this point 4 cards for $200, might be a little steep for me. Who knows how I will feel when the product comes out.

oh i totally agree Hwilensky, $200 is VERY steep for 4 unknown cards. The best thing to do with these high end products is to just "Cherry pick" the singles you like off of Ebay. $200 can get you a lot of nice singles on Ebay, instead of gambling with one pack of this. These high end packs are just something i will buy once in a blue moon as a very special treat. Singles all the way. Although i would love to pull the Iginla, Kipprusoff and Clarence Campbell cut auto 1/1. That card sounds sweet!!

Nice looking product, but I wouldn't be too thrilled to pull some of the non hockey autos.

Why does Upper Deck need to include autos of people like Burgess Meredith in a hockey set?
