I *think* they were included in the blaster boxes only. Unsure of the insertion ratio.

I still need

In the Target and Wal-Mart exclusive blasters they had 1 pack per blaster that contained all of them. The Wal-Mart has the Black Border and Target has the Retro.

Two packs per Blaster. And You have to read the Target boxes. They run out, and replace with plain Blasters--no retro cards. Read the fine print on the Target boxes. I think all Wal-Mart Blasters have them--which would lead me to believer there are less Target cards than Wal-Mart cards, but I can't confirm that. Just a hunch.

They are awesome cards and as time goes by, harder to locate.

As mentioned, they are only in pretty much the first runs of Target/WalMart Blasters. i never did see any of the limited ones at Target this year. all they have are the "plain" blasters.

a few weeks back i got lucky at WalMart and found this on the shelf:

I have a Stras from this year (not anything special, I know :) )

as far as 2008 goes, Series 1 was ALL black from Wal-Mart. Series 2 had 1-2 packs per box that were black parallels.

I do not think they had Black parallels at W-M in 2008. They had other exclusives in 2008--like Albert Pujols on a 1982 Topps design--that are jsut known as Wal-Mart Exclusives. target and W-M both started their own parallels in 2009. Series I, Series II and Updates.

I have the complete series 1 set of 2009 Topps Target retro parallels.

Also, I just finished up series 1 of the 2011 Topps Target retro parallel set. I hope to complete all the series this year.

what i really like about the Target Retros is that they are like Topps cards used to be before 1992 Topps changed their format to what we have today
