Wakefield is crap. Why? Wins mean nothing. His ERA is about 5. Talk about the most overvalued stat ever.

Shin Soo Choo didnt make it, which shouldnt have happened, he was top 3 in VORP for AL outfielders, but the AL fans made so many mistakes that they had to give the backup slots to the players who should have been starters. Also, they needed a Cleveland player and another catcher, so Martinez got it instead.

It comes down to this: as long as this game "counts," fans shouldnt vote.

However, this EXHIBITION game shouldnt count anyways, so its an EPIC fail all around.

you've been thanked for those last two sentences; I couldn't agree more.

I was hoping Hoffman would have made it b/c this is, in all reality, his last chance at an All Star Game. He deserved to go, but I can't really argue with Franklin and Coco; still sucks for Trevor though.

agree

wonder if Hoffman will be one of the vote in guys
TBS went off the air once 1PM hit for Cubs game and didn't get to see who fan vote in players were

NL doesn't need another 1B so hopefully D lee not a choice

AL choice = Miggy?
wonder if they put Arod as a choice

AL-Figgins, Inge, Kinsler, Lind, Pena
NL-Guzman, Reynolds, Kemp, Sandoval, Victorino

Wakefield has to be the biggest joke (4.30 ERA and 1.35 WHIP).

I gave Adam and Pablo my Final Votes.

The NL doesn't even have a real CF. Kemp has to get on the team as Beltran's replacement if he doesn't take the "Final vote."

was Chicago now Glendale AZ
I think Victorino and/or Kemp replace any of the NL OFers that might not play

Therefore, vote Pablo

WOW to no Miggy as a choice

Ian K = 100% my vote then although Lind a solid player

Still wish Podsednik or Dye an option

That's another ***** in the system. NO ONE votes for defense. If you want a chance at winning, you need a solid defender at 3rd, SS, C, and CF.

If you actually want to win, you put guys like Cameron and Rowand out there in CF to cut down on the runs. Thankfully the Cubs as a team was so bad that the NL was able to keep thier entire retarded OF off the team :)

Since there has to be one rep from each team arguing who gets in and who's left out is a moot point to me. Because of that very deserving people will get left out and your left with teams that really don't have the best players in baseball. I thought the all star game was celebrating the best players in baseball for that given year. Not celebrating baseball and the teams as a whole.
I'm all for fan's voting for all star games but since this one actually counts for something fans shouldn't vote. Bud needs to pick one. Either have it count and have players/managers vote/decide or make it an exhibition game.

McCann makes it 4/4 for all-star games, no real complaint here though its strange that the best catcher in the NL by far over the last 4 years has yet to start one

a little surprised to see no other braves, but can't say anyone else really got snubbed, Vazquez and Jurrjens got hurt by run support and chipper hasn't done enough to separate himself from the depth at 3B

I can't believe Miguel Cabrera is not in this All-Star game, let alone the Final Man vote. He has a teammate on the All-Star team that deserves it less and a teammate on the Final Vote roster that deserves it less. Might be the biggest snub in a while just b/c of those reasons alone.

It has nothing to do with how he played and everything to do with the fact he plays 1B. No doubt he would be on the team if he were still playing 3rd. Which in some ways would make sense considering he could play there in a crunch if needed. It's cool as a fan of Granderson that he made it, but I'm pretty shocked he got picked.

Adam Dunn may be the first hall of famer to only make 1 all star game. He has the stats almost every year and never gets in. He would be a pleasure to watch during the HR derby.
