2009 Bowman Chrome without fac. simile

I made a post about this last year(early this year?). The post was about how I don't like the fac simile autographs on chrome cards and I wanted to see what everyone else opinion was.

It looks like Topps forgot to put the fac simile auto on one of the players cards again so we could compare(Note: This isn't a WBC card, this is part of the regular prospect set.).

I also like how the first year logo is in the top left corner and the team logo is in the bottom right, instead of clustered together.

Much better without the annoying, jagged signature.

I always thought it looked too "cheap" and forced on the Bowman products.

Way better without the sig. It is so bulky that it detracts from the photo.

Maybe it's just familiarity, but I like them with the facsimile signature.

I haven't minded it in the past because it usually isn't such a huge, bulky space. This year's though...yuck.

I do agree that some look better. Pretty much just 2008 and 2009 have looked better without IMHO. 2009 especially...

Without. The cards look much sharper and crisper. Besides, there are still kids out there who confuse the facsimile with a real autograph.

Thanks Andrew. I think with the facsimilie(how should this be spelled?) this year is one of the worst designs, without it would one of the best. Also they could make 25-50 cards with facsimilie autos like they did in 02.

Yes, chromes signed IP or TTM have always looked strange with the two signatures.

I say if it is not the real thing, then don't out it on there.
