2OO9 BOWMAN DRAFT

What is your opinions on this release

Will it flop LIKE 2008 Topps Rookie Progression Football Hobby Box ???

Will it be able to challege Prestige

I THINK I am going to buy a jumbo box and go from that point...

I think it'll be better than prestige. We're getting 2 jumbo boxes for our box breakers group. I may grab a regular box for myself.

Flop. Topps shouldn't even waste time with Bowman brand for football. It's a baseball brand.

Disagree there. I know you're a baseball fan and possibly a prospector, but bowman and bowman chrome is solid every year in football. Of course it doesn't reach the popularity of baseball's bowman and bowman chrome but its solid none the less.

I would agree they are a good solid brand on both accounts
However they have declined over the past 4 years. 2004 was the best year for the Chrome brand.

The Letter patches should be popular, but will sell like crap. Ill probably pick some singles up.

I pre-ordered a box

at that price i thought it would be fun to open and a chance to pick up some rc's (albeit one's that won't be worth much). Also liked the auto's are on-card and the letter patch auto's are cool in a cheaper product.

I am a little worried now though that i'll just end up with garbage. I didn't factor in how Topps seeds their autos - where group A + B autos will probably be like 1:700 packs and it'll just be filled with late rounders...o well ::facepalm::

I pre-ordered 4 boxes of this stuff and will just throw the hits up on the bay. I got the boxes for a good price with free shipping. I'll see how it goes...
