2009 DEEE Box/Case Tally Thread

The FCB hype machine is in full force!

I am really interested to see how the chapman / Ackley autos do at release, and a couples months after release. I can see it going both ways.

I am also interested it see the "live" on-card autos. The original pictures looked really nice.

I went from a case to 0. I was going to split with someone but we both decided it was too expensive. I may try a box or two just for the hell of it if the price remains the same after release. I love the look of the cards, but it will be interesting to see how Ackley and Tate sell given they are supposedly each in every case, and are slated to be in 09 Bowman. If I had extra funds I would definitely get 1/2 or a whole case, but i just don't at this time.

yeah its tough when they make the cases so big. they should do 10 and 20 box cases.

Finally added my vote to the 3-5 case range. Have 3 ordered...considering adding more. Based upon the number of autos and the price I paid, it should be just a little over $10 per auto, which is amazing considering 2008 at release was nearly double that price per auto.

Earlier today, Blowout had apparantly sold out of cases, but they now have more in - at $1600 a pop, according to their site.

It is so tempting but I have to hold off. I wish these were 10 box cases for 800.

My issue is that the odds are stacked for 20 box cases, so you could end up hitting big or missing big by only getting half the case. I almost wish they would reduce the number of autos per box from 6 to 4 by taking out some of the lower end guys, and reducing the price point. Even if the average auto then cost the buy $12-$13, its better than a bunch of nothings at $10 a piece

Reason why I'm doing singles
Big danger when auto checklist is too large
Sure some of the cheap guys can be surprise guy one day but too easy to get way too many $1-2 autos in a hurry

Skipped Bowman.
One case of BC.
Handfull of BDP boxes
Skipped Prospects Plus
Wont touch Bowman Sterling

Only cases I opened this year were massively discounted 2008 EEE and Razor Letterman

So where do you think my money is going?

I rip alot of wax and I'm actually not opening any cases of EEE. I may break a box or two, but I will be unloading on singles (well a single) only.

So a heads up to all of you EEE breakers, save the fees and sell me all of your Brett Jackson cards.
