I believe they're "choosen" ( ) by BA's staff, and they factor in ceiling as well as performance.

Looks like two solid teams though. Upon first glance, I like the hitters of the World team better but the pitchers of the US team better.

As I understand it, you have to be in AA at least to make it on the roster, and I don't believe Posey has been officially promoted yet.

Why are there no Jays? I always thought they tried to have at least one to two representatives from each MLB team on both teams.

Not true. There are a lot of A ball players on the roster right now (Jemile Weeks) and last few years we have sent Kevin Pucetas, Henry Sosa, Brian Bocock and Pablo Sandoval when they were in High A.

Thank god BA is back to selecting both rosters, after last year's hiatus in which MLB decided to use the U.S. roster as a Team USA try-out essentially. Great talent this year.

I actually think the pool of players is really good. Would have liked to seen Smoak there, but this is pretty much most of what the minor leagues has to offer.
