2009 KC Royals Caravan

Well, Salina, Kansas' Wal-Mart hosted the Royals Caravan again and I took my son, Zachary, once again. He brought his friend, Kye, whose father is fighting in Iraq at the moment. I was honored to bring him, but he got shy and clammed up the second we got up there to get their autographs. I ended up not getting as many pics and not as many things signed as I wanted, but it was still fun and a great group of guys there signing!
They included:
Kyle Davies and Brian Bannister
Hall of Famers (just Royals or actual Cooperstown I don't know, don't care)
John Mayberry and Frank White

This is the card I had Brian Bannister sign.

John Mayberry on the far left, Brian Bannister in the middle and Kyle Davies on far right. My son, Zach is the blond kid w/ the blue shirt and my neighbor's son, Kye is the upset looking one in the plaid shirt.

Thanks for letting me share! It was fun for the few minutes we were there and I hope, I HOPE the Seattle Mariners do the same thing!

We did have a good time, it was just severe organized chaos! Yes, Bannister has a BEAUTIFUL signature! I printed off some pictures and Kyle Davies and Brian Bannister signed their pictures. Didn't get White or Mayberry though. Kye is only 5 and is just not used to things like this. Differences between parents raising I suppose! He was pretty upset with me. I helped him get his shirt signed and when we got to the fan he told me "I did NOT have fun and I am THROWING my shirt away!"
He apologized later.....
