Lots of nice stuff. Definitely look a bit better than the boxes.

Nice looking Wallace. Now if SPA would ever come out we'd be good.

What are the little squiggly lines behind his signature? Part of the design I hope?

Doesnt look like anything you can't pull out of a dozen products for a third the price. Personally, I'm disappointed in the high-end Panini stuff so far.

Please post some pictures where you can pull rookie patch auto's that look like that.

x2, I know I've been out of the loop for a bit but I'd like to be able to pull Rookie Patch Autos like that, with the same odds for 1/3 of the price.

Haha I do admit some aspect of the rest of the product are EFFING terrible, but maybe that is what makes these sexy patch autos so awesome. :)

I do like how on the rookie autos, there is actually a spot to sign, and the autograph doesn't blend in with the rest of the card. I can't think of one set they've released this year where the auto doesn't get lost with the rest of the card.

I was critical of some of the product overall (from what I've seen so far), but I don't know how you can hate the on-card auto rookie cards. Those really are amazing looking - IMO they may even be better then this years Exquisite rookies (depending on what kind of patches end up in Exquisite).

I too have been critical of the product in the past, aside from patches and low #'ing it has not been an Exquisite competitor. It looks like Panini is trying to ramp it up a notch thought.

I wrote a blog about the progression this product has made from 2006 to now: http://pennysleeves.com/2010/01/holy-on-card-patch-auto-2009-national-treasures/

Check it out if you are interested.

The way your blog reads, makes it sound like 2007 and 2008 NT did not have on card autos, even though it did for the rookies at the Rookie Premiere, just like 2009.

I agree, this quote from the blog isn't true at all..."In 2007 & 2008 the patches grew larger and the stickers grew clearer"

In '07 & '08, the rc's that were patch autos were on card autos, not stickers.

Thanks for the feedback, I hadn't realized that 2007 and 2008 did have some on-cards.
