There is always upset

12-5 and 11-6=deadly.
This year, the 11-6 games don't seem too close. I really cannot see UCLA losing to VCU, Marquette losing to Utah State, or West Virginia losing to Dayton. However, I can see Temple upsetting AZ State. That should be an interesting game.

HAVE YOU SEEN UTAH STATE PLAY!?!?!?!

yah, they may be in the WAC, but when they were playing Nevada last night i was at Outback Steakhouse they were up like 30-8 or something. They pass the ball around as well as any of the teams seeded 3-8 on here, dont underestimate.

And hasn't it been NEVER that there have been 3 number 1's in the final 4 and 2 number 1's in the championship?

I could be wrong, can someone please correct me on this!?> =]

overall not bad picks, throw in a couple more 12-5 through 10-7 upsets though

last year all 4 final four teams were number 1 seeds.

SFA will beat 'Cuse... mark it down

And Western Kentucky will handle Illinois (i look for a 10-15 point win).

I also like VCU to beat UCLA, and Arizona to beat Utah...

i like parts of both, i don't see wisonsin getting out of the first round or zona getting past the 2nd round, but that's more likely than wisconsin.

I agree with all besides Cuse, I think they're one of the best 8 teams in the country and have the best PG, Illinois will lose becuase they lost Fraizer their PG and leader, UCLA just isn't that good and VCU has been their before just look at 2007, Arizona could be dangerous they definately have talent and how did Utah manage to get a #5 seed is beyond me, I'd take probably half the 6-11 seeds to beat them atleast.

I just think 'cuse is prime for an upset and why not the lumberjacks...?

Remember a few years back when syracuse was coming off an amazing run through the conference tourney only to be knocked out by a lowly 12 seeded a&m team :) .

But then they were not even close to being this talented, they wouldn't have made the tourney if that wouldn't have happened then, this year they have the best PG in the country, great shooters and role players.

This is more of a general NCAA post but nevertheless, am I the only one who thinks that Memphis has NO right to be complaining about getting a #2 seed over Uconn's #1? Sure they only had 3 losses to Uconn's 4, but take a look at their schedule:

Memphis "Big Wins" (against other tourney teams) - Gonzaga, Tennessee, CINCINNATTI (not in tourney but this is their 3rd biggest win, talk about a huge dropoff)
Memphis Losses - Georgetown, Syracuse, Xavier
Uconn "Big Wins" - Wisconsin, Gonzaga, West Virginia, Villanova, Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse, Marquette
Uconn Losses - Georgetown, Syracuse (6 OT), Pittsburgh x2

Uconn is 8-3 against teams in the tourney; Memphis is 2-2

Am I missing something? John Cal needs to shut up!

I certainly have not followed them near as much as other teams this year, so... heck they may make the final four...

I just have to have one major upset each year, and i really like SFA over 'Cuse. I certainly don't doubt the talent level, as i know it is always high with Boeheim coached teams.

Plus, now if SFA happens to upset 'Cuse, i can say "i told you so"... and who doesn't like doing that ;)

You messed up on the typed bracket, switched the seeds to different regions in the final four.
I did it on ESPN Accuscorer or whatever it is called, so I just had to click on the winner. It did that automatically.
