Almost have the whole checklist complete ...thanks to the help of a few.

I still need suggestions for:
1989 N.L.
1990 N.L.
1991 N.L.
1998 N.L.
2000 N.L.
2002 A.L.
2003 N.L.
2006 A.L.

Check to see if they are already in before suggestion.

Didn't you notice the Yount? Sometimes I just pick cool pictures..... best photo of the Ryan Express EVER!! Even beats the Ventura noogie.

1989 NL -- could be Kevin Mitchell. 47 HRs, .635 SLG and the MVP.
1990 NL – no clear cut winner.. maybe Ryne Sandberg? .300-40-100 season
1991 NL – Will Clark had a heck of a season.. he needs to find his way into the set one way or another.
1998 NL – love him or hate him, it has to be Mark McGwire.
2000 NL – Todd Helton hit .372 and slugged nearly .700, but Randy Johnson struck out 347 people. I think it has to go to Randy, since there aren’t a ton of pitchers in the set.
2002 AL – Probably could be Alfonso Soriano, but I’d like to see Barry Zito get the nod here.
2003 NL – should be Miguel Cabrera. 20 year old hitting a home run against Roger Clemens in the WS?..
2006 AL – Either David Ortiz or Johan Santana. Santana would be my pick.

The set would be a billion cards if everyone was in there as many times as they deserve. Hard enough figuring how to squeeze them all in.

Lol, I forgot you bought that Manny/Bin Laden card! You do know that isn't and really wasn't meant to be a custom right? I'm sure you do.
I still love that Henderson..and that design. One day I'll make you a proper one complete with back.

I didn't say everyone should be there! Get rid of some of those scrubs and add Rickey a few more times, that's all I was saying. :lol: You're not thinking Rickey enough.


I was inspired by the Dale Murphy comment about 1990- the year he was traded to the Phillies.


It got me thinking Rickey should be in there every year. The best would be 2005 - Led the Surf Dawgs to win the GBL championship!! That was awesome!
