That top one is the new 'shadowbox' card. It's supposed to be a completely new technology. They come one per case and according to UD on their facebook page it will blow your mind when you see one. Guess it's something you can't really convey on a sell sheet.

Here it is. Get ready to break out the wallet, because there are several VERY notable 49'ers including Jerry Rice and Roger Craig. Oh, and CRABTREE. Looks like it's a mix of current and HOF players without any real theme. It doesn't say anything specific about autographed versions, but it may be a safe assumption that each player has an auto version.

The problem I had with SPX last year that I think will continue to this year is the extremely low quality of most of the hits. Each pack has a 'hit,' but most of them are just single jersey swatches. I think I'll stick to some singles off of the bay.

Yeah, you missed a whole bunch. They're not the only ones, you were probably just looking at the base set.

Here is my guess on the shadow box. Either its a plexiglass card inside of a regular card, or its like an actual shadow box with a recessed inner area with a piece of plastic or acetate over it to make it look like a display case. UD is not being very informative, despite them promising me that they will elaborate.

Damn. They just had to make Maclin a preview card...as if his prices weren't high enough already ::facepalm::
