2009 Topps A&G ***** League Autos Completed

Final card arrived in the mail tonight. Nice looking set - I love that A&G included on-card autos of these ***** League players whom I don't think have any other certified autos. All are SP's with a 239 print run.

Also picked up this Buck O'Neil tonight for $34.95. Couldn't pass it up at that price, even though this makes my 3rd one of these.

I love the look as well, the Navarro Red ink is killing me, I have only seen one and the reserve was $300, too much imo.

I only paid between $20-$25 for all of them except the Navarro, which I got for $35 (Navarro is 104 years old and this may be his only certified auto). Beckett doesn't mean much to me, as they are for my ***** League Auto PC.

I met Lou Dials many years ago at a card show; still have the auto 8X10. Meeting him gave me the idea for a term paper (was in college at the time). Got an "A" on it, too!

I collected the A&G ***** Leauges autograph set from 2007. Awesome cards, but I bought them when they were $50 plus and now they can be picked up for $20 to $40. Still sweet cards!

Very nice! I am 2 cards away from the TTMs. Willie Williams, and Millito Navarro. I sent Willie Williams $5, and he sent the card back, but forgot to remove the paper on the back of the adhesive on the envelope! I got the empty envelope back, but the card must have fell out. I sent Millito $5 and he sent a note back saying "$10 for sign". He not only kept my card, but he cashed the $5 check! I also still need to get Bob Motley. He sent me a not saying to buy his book and he would sign it. He kept my card.
