2009 Topps and UD - A Jumbo and my new favorite card

The Topps jumbo pack box was your standard - 5 or so inserts per pack, got the 10 gold parallels, 1 black, 10 Turkey Red preview cards, etc. I did get a variation base Big Train and a Cobb manufactured "H"....

Upper Deck was off on the hits - 2 boxes yielded 3 autos and 2 game used and 1 parallel (not 2-4-2). I really like the 1975 Topps looking O-Pee-Chee...

The Joe DiMaggio is card #0, not sure I ever seen that and the Donavan Tate jersey card is cool....

And even though I got this in the Topps box.......

Upper Deck produced my new favorite card.........

what # is your card in the set, so did they have the deal like the allen ginter contest with getting your own card for completing that legacy set? I never even knew about it.

Card #HF-8. I think it was a late in the game insert set idea from UD. They called me and told me about it maybe five weeks ago, and the Historical Firsts set wasn't announced until a couple of weeks ago.

Congrats! Thats amazing that you have your own card and even cooler that you actually pulled it!

They YSL set was a beast, congrats on being the first to finish it.

And like others have said, I'd love to do a TTM with a fellow collector that made it to the bigs!

Seriously, congrats again. I can't wait to show my wife this..... I'm sure she'll want her own card too, lol!
