2009 Topps Series I cases...are they wiped out?

trying to find HTA and no dice.

I saw dacardworld has a regular case for $980! :shock: I'm assuming it is this high b/c they are scarce now?

What was in the set that made these dry up so quick. Usually regular Topps is all over the place. Even when the Jeter/Mantle/Bush card and people were buying cases left and right...you never had a hard time finding HTA or regular cases...

Not sure but I know I'm still missing 4 1/1's from that set (3 plates and the platinum) for Chris Lambert.
I'm guessing that they must be somewhere, probably in unopened boxes....

None of my local guys have been able to get any more hobby boxes in more than a month.

For every case of HTA, one regular case had to be ordered with it...kind of stinks for the local level distributors.

that's why i was asking. i was planning on doing a case of HTA each of series I and II for player breaks.

with over 700 different players, players would be as low as a buck. i was going to do it around early june. i may just have to buy separate boxes of HTA, they are going for $130 a piece.
