I plan on being there one of the days/nights, more than likely Friday night.

Bo - You gonna be able to get in early again? If so, might have you look for something for me. ;)

I'll probably be attending Saturday evening or Sunday if I do go. I have plans Friday that will prevent me from going.

How are they about doing inscriptions? Would be cool to see if he will inscribe 2008 HR Derby champ on it.

He might not do inscriptions just because they try to rush as many folks through as they can, and that would slow it all down. I know, it doesn't seem like it, but when you can get 400 people through instead of just 325, it's a big thing for the Fund.

I always bring stuff for autographs--posting your booty as soon as you get home is mandatory--but I never try to trade at the card show. Those guys are all there to make money (it's like $300 per table for the weekend, something like that) Twins stuff is more expensive there, and always bring your own OMLB balls. (price hike) If you don't care about the ball, there's plenty of cheaper models there, but I would never use those to get an auto on. (leather is cheaper, ball point will fade, bleed, etc.)

So far, still planning on being at Hubert's. (haven't got a job yet, so my schedule is wide open)

For example, Span was a freebie last year. They have 4-5 young guys at the prospects table. They are all free. Span will probably be at one of the 5 or 10 dollar tables. Each table has 3-4 players--usually a mix of past and present players--running either 5 or 10 bucks. Up on the concourse is where the stars are--Killebrew, Carew, Blyleven, Mauer, Moreneau, etc. Those guys are usually on their own and run 15-25. I think Killer and Carew are the only 25, but Morneau and Mauer could be this year. Prices and stations are usually released during the week of the fest--Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm already worried about how cold it'll be on Friday afternoon.

I may actually buy something from the Pro Shop this year. (been saving up my plasma money and trying hard not to buy cards with it.)

And here's a pic from last year's event for folks who haven't been before. There are two autograph stations on the floor--the red and the blue areas on the right, and the green prospect areas to the left (1st base side.) On either side of the blue and red autograph stations are the tables to spend your hard-earned money on silly things.

Don't worry about the weather. This Saturday it is supposed to be back up in the 20s. Obviously that doesn't mean much for next Friday, but it does mean that the current cold front will have moved out.
