2009 UD Series 2 Griffey Variations

Hey all. I've noticed a bunch of different Griffey Variations popping up in 2009 UD Series 2. I opened some and was lucky enough to his his 1989 variation that was listed on the UD site. I also hit a couple of Reds variations of his card #855 base card. Mine were both Reds cards. After doing some eBay searching I've noticed several other variations of this card. Does anyone know the "deal" with these? Also, what happened to the "subscribe" option at the top of threads? I swear it used to be there and is now gone.... Mike

I've pulled 3 different ones, all in Mariner's uniforms....

Looking around eBay it looks like at least 7 or 8 different variations have surfaced. Great idea about the variations, but you would think UD might announce this to create a little interest. They just don't get it.....

No, they get it. It's a little chase for people who actually look at the base cards rather than just rifle through packs looking for the money.
