2009 Ultimate checklist- how accurate?

There's a post from a while back that mentioned a Vizquel card I'd obviously love to track down. But I'm curious how accurate the checklist is. It seems to me every year there's one or two checklists that Omar appears on, but it turns out the card doesn't exist. And as you can imagine, UD's customer service isn't helpful/knowledgeable. I might as well ask my Ethiopian neighbor.

So is this real?

Is there a version of the card /50? If there is a higher print run just not the gold version which is really purple or blue foil, then most likely it exists. It took a while for one the /25 Chavez's to show up but when they did, 10 were listed within 10 days. Good luck finding it (if it exists)

Although I've been seriously collecting for 15+ years, my industry knowledge is pretty limited because of my player-collection focus.

But I'm still amazed that card companies frequently don't have accurate checklists available prior to a product's release. Then it takes several weeks for the checklist to make it to the website. And heaven forbid you have a question, because their customer service reps are virtually ignorant of the products their products.

Stuff like this is exhausting....

The /25 version is the only one I saw on the checklist. And I haven't seen one on eBay or anywhere else. Of course Upper Deck can't help, since they think this is an old product despite not having a checklist. ::facepalm::

Doubtful. There are a few others for Murray that are checklisted but do not exist.

Look through old sales to verify (Im guessing you have)
