200lbhp, I got a question for ya.

Are you actually cutting out a window and putting something else behind it with the cut auto sandwiched inbetween, or are you just gluing the cut straight on the card?

To be fair, George is showing off the Photoshop mock-up. Here is a scan of the final card.

Correct, my crappy old scanner would not have done this card any justice, it is a wonderful piece!

That looks sooooooo amazing, and you actually did what I thought I would(if I could do it), was slide the pic down just a bit to try and get just a tad bit more of the hat, and just a tad bit less of the white showing on the bottom. Wish I could do some of that stuff. VERY NICE work 200lbhockeyplayer.

The window is indeed die-cut and the autograph is embedded into the 100pt thick card...just like a jersey card or regular autograph cut card.

It would have been ideal if Slaughter hadn't signed into the white area therefore I could have had none of the white showing, but alas...I had to work with it. An earlier incarnation had off-white running across the bottom to mimic the color showing, but it just didn't look right with the rest of the layout.

And thanks again to everyone for the compliments, it's a fun hobby and this is how I can continually keep it new.

Very nicely done. More proof that even card geeks do have some creativity. Great design for the cut.
