2010 Bowman Blasters?

To me, it's a great deal to bust because you have a great chance to make your money back or better with a simple base chrome.


It's not worth it to sell on eBay because of the market starting to flood and prices dropping.

Within a week, eBay will be flooded with blasters and sellers will actually lose money when fees are taken into account.

Well I ended up putting one up on ebay, sitting on one, and I busted the last one. Overall I think it did okay compared to the other blaster breaks I've seen. I did get a Manny Machado USA but the centering is horrible. Here are some of the hits:

Found 2 blasters at my local Target...
They also had an open box of retail (24 packs) and 5 rack packs at $5.00 ea...
will put them away until he pitches next week..
Only bought the sealed blasters

I had some luck today, found four blasters and one retail box with 36 packs in it @2.99 per pack. I plan on holding onto the blasters for now and ripped the loose packs, here's the results. Hit 5 purple refs, 2 regular refs, one gold ref, one auto and one Strasburg Chrome. Any comments on how I did? Does the Colome Gold Ref have promise? LMK

colome is a real nice hit. he needs to be promoted, but he's having a real nice season and his sales show it. It's about a $30 card.

I got 4 now, and put 2 up in the flood on eBay. I put them as BINs, so if they don't sell, I can just return them and be out time and $0.50.

I'm hoping that his debut gets these going again.

I went to the local target today to get my scrip filled and they had four blasters and 24 count box. They had just put them out. Actually the lady who goes around to the other stores said some guys were following her for these boxes and buying them all up as soon as she put them on the self. So I got all four blasters and the 24 count pack box and didn't really pull anything great other than a 3 strasburg chromes, no harpers, no tailons. I got six purple refractors font, dotel, christian, lamb, santana, delmonico. Two autos Forsythe and Valdez. So I am done with bowman.

I did the same thing. Bought 4 at WalMart, opened 1 and sold the other 3 for $109 DLVD. Got 2 more wally world's in town and a target i might hit up.

It certainly does...BUT...I'd just rather not take my chances...and the autos suck as well.

It certainly does...BUT...I'd just rather not take my chances...and the autos suck as well.

Basically its the only 2010 Bowman wax that is a good buy right now. $100+ for a hobby box and $200ish for a jumbo just aren't good buys because you are going lose money 95% of the time. At $20, a single chrome base can pay for more than the entire blaster, and if you hit a parallel of one of the big names then you come out way on top.

It's kinda like a $20 scratch off lottery ticket with better odds to win.

I think the odd of pulling a Strasburg or Harper Chrome are pretty long. I busted 1 hobby box and pulled neither.

3 boxes of blasters and I hit a Ackley orange ref' 3/25... that will get me my money and then some back. Quite a few USA's too, 2 Machado's... I am content

Grabbed the only 4 blasters one of my Targets had yesterday (should say, my wife picked them up for me). Stopped at the Wal Mart, nada, only Topps 1 and Sage football. Might try another Target this afternoon. Right now, putting the blasters in the flood, if they don't sell, I'll bust them, only out $20/each.
