If I can find a bevy, I too will buy them up and run them out on eBay during Strasburg's call-up. He's on the box, which always helps. I think if the chromes go absolutely nuts, some people will be foolish enough to try their luck at pulling one from a balster or two instead of paying $75+ for them.

totally agree.

worst case is having to return them

I will warn you all. These will also be resealed. Remember to look for the topps logo on the wrap. In the past
topps has used a very hard to open wrap, once they hit we can confirm what they use, but I have bought
2010 topps blasters quite a bit and they should be hard to open, the wrap that resealers use is loose and
easy to poke a finger in and open. Also look for the topps logo!

Good Luck

Not me. I honestly have no idea when they'll hit shelves. All I posted were the retail wrapper odds.

If they hit tomorrow at the Target in my area, they will ALL be gone along with any retail boxes. K-mart in my area has NOTHING!! I don't even bother. Walmart has been slow in coming and have recently gone to the blister packs vs blaster boxes. Either way if they hit tomorrow, we should begin to see some additional breaks on here from retail and some profits made on ebay. The question is what should shipping be on a blaster?

Just so you guys know that most of the cards are shipped to stores via UPS and since the holiday today I would
think that the ones that get theirs on Tuesday(delivery) most of the time will have them a day later of course.
They get delivered to Walmarts On Tuesday and Thursday as for Target they get theirs on Wednesday.

I know this since I used to be a merchandiser for Kellogg snacks and I would see the boxes sitting there when I worked at these stores and asked the backroom guys when do those come in.

These will be here soon enough so keep your eyes out for them. :D

Do you happen to know if they always come the week of release? Or is it possible that the were delivered last week Thursday and are just being held until the actual release date (apparently June 1) when they will be put on shelves?

I'm actually considering it. Probably not to bust, but to flip as many online as possible.

If "Normal" crazies camp outside Best Buy for release of a new video game or outside the movie theater for the 12:01 showing of a groundbreaking movie, what does that make me for considering waiting around at Walmart until midnight to buy them out of retail baseball card packs?

Won't be surprised at all to see scalpers out at store openings buying every blaster and retail box the second it hits the shelf.

I would not say Bowman is limited, because it is not, but when the boxes top $100 per and the jumbos's top $200 per, VERY limited amounts are opened by the average collector. The person would much rather just buy the card they want, i.e. Strasburg Purple.

I think that long-term this is good for Bowman in general because there are some additional players that will be limited in the parallel's because of the lack of product being opened. Purple refractors being retail only, with the exception of the few that got placed in hobby will get a premium and I still say nice copies and Gem Mint copies will get a premium.

I love the purple refractors and have a ton from 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft. One of my favorite parallels, so I'm interested in seeing these for 2010.

People who want to make money on something are scalpers?

2010 Bowman is getting bustled like no other product. People will be busting blasters at a record pace starting tomorrow, looking for purple Cashburgs. By end of week I bet we see 2-3 pages of purple Cashburgs on Ebay. Along with tons of other purples of others.

Also will be interesting to see. The people who stock the Targets and Skuzmarts have to know 2010 Bowman is worth more than the 19.99 a box, if some dealers and scalpers will get to them early and just cut deals for the product before it even gets inside the retail stores.

I'm sure we will see wine fests in next few weeks on how so and so stores never got any 2010 retail Bowman. Or how they saw a scalper loading up his cart with every blaster/ retail boxes before they had a chance to buy some.

There's one on ebay at $31 right now, and still 1 day left. It's stated that it is a presale. Will the prices hold like that, or is it just because it hasn't released? Good question that I wish I had insight to.
