In the grand scheme of things, does it really matter what designation the card has? The year is all that matters.

Of course, I agree. Then again, in that same perspective: We shouldn't care so much about the strangers who play this sport.

Anyways, I think I can settle. His AU is (Jesus') "Bowman Chrome," and so it's reasonable to assume this upcoming Bowman Baseball product will have the same labels. That was my main problem.

If they both come out in the same set they will both be first year cards technically. I don't get why it matters tho...look how they Heyward chrome sells even tho it doesn't have the first year chrome logo on it. Does it really matter honestly? Its not like the base is going to sell any higher, or the auto is going to sell any lower because it doesn't have it on there. Look at every player who has had a non first year auto in the set...hasn't hurt them at all.

If you still care, you probably have some type of OCD that is incurable because it just doesn't matter that much...

Hopefully that is the case.
I was probably going to buy a couple boxes, and the Iglesias was a nice chase card and potential hit since I am a Red Sox fan.

I was taking a look again at the checklist up on Blowout. The 3 in red were together apart from the others on that checklist too and listed as "Prospect Variation Cards (Cont'd)".....so seems to bode well that they could be listed on another page.

I'll be disappointed if Iglesias doesn't end up as an auto in this product. But I won't be disappointed if the top auto guys also have a base card. Montero's auto doesn't seem to be affected, so the additional base cards should just provide a few extra $'s for breakers
