2010 bowman chrome wrapper redemption program

i was wondering how everyone fared with this program? and wanted some advice to see if i have a worthwhile complaint on my recent expierence.

i recently sent in 97 boxes of wrappers (8 cases + 1 box) worth.
i also sent in 17 topps chrome boxes worth of wrappers ( this promotion has run out of stock and is being replaced with bowman chrome wrapper redemption packs :benson: )

so out of 114 bowman chrome wrapper redemption packs i got 4 usa highschooler autographs /99
i posted details in the box break section, but apparently these are 4 of the worst autos in the set.

i had heard people were getting an auto every 11 - 15 packs... and mine was closer to 1 in 30.

how did everyone else fare?
did i wait too long to redeem?

Its a gamble. The autos were not guaranteed. I sent in about 30 and didn't get any autos.

I don't believe there were any stated odds on the autos. I doubt you'll get anywhere, but you can try. You can talk to bmp1971 and see what his trick is. Apparently he knows how to get full Jumbo boxes as replacements from Topps when he complains to them about things that aren't even an issue. I'm sure he'll have some tips for you.

Seriously though, busting packs is a gamble. You must already know that. If there is nothing guaranteed by the company, I don't see why you'd complain. We get lucky sometimes and others not so much. No one writes Topps a letter of thanks when they hit a red refractor auto in 3 packs they buy from the local shop, so why complain in the same manner when nothing was guaranteed to begin with?

You did well statisticially.
I opened 404 packs (34 cases worth)
and only recieved 8 total auto's and not one buyback.
Statisticially should have gotten 3 buybacks and didnt get 1, also upon talking to topps I really didnt get anywhere with them.
